Google My Business is a free tool for promoting your business profile and website on Google Search and Maps. It helps to make your business profile stand out more and turn searches into the customers. You can add or edit your business profile information, view and reply to posts, reviews, product photos or special offers.
If a Google search is used on the website, a Google my Business account is also required for the configuration of the search. When a website goes live, the sitemap must be entered in the Google Search Console so that Goole crawls the page. In this case a Google my Businnes account is required for the login.
ReCaptcha is a free service that protects websites from spam and bot abuse. A “Captcha” is a test to tell if the visitor is a human or a bot trying to access the website or send a form. ReCaptcha is pretty easy for humans to solve, but bots have big difficulties with it. Google introduced a new ReCaptcha version 3 which automatically detected if the visitor is a human or a bot. I requires no challenges to be solve. Instead, ReCaptcha version 3 continuously monitors the visitor's behavior to determine whether it is a human or a bot.
Native and hybrid applications are built specifically for a device (Android or iOS) and are distributed via Google Play Store or Apple iTunes, from where users can install them. Native applications are built specifically per platform - one application is written for Android and one application for iOS. They do not share the code. Hybrid apps look the same for users, but they share most of the code, making them faster to develop and easier to maintain. The drawback is that there are some limitations compared to the native app, where "everything is possible" as for hybrid, it's either not possible or very complex.
PWA is built as a special type of webpage and can be reached via URL. They can, similarly to native and hybrid apps, be installed, work offline, retrieve the location of the device, and much more. But they are not listed in the stores, and on iOS, the biggest limitation currently is that they cannot retrieve push notifications (for Android, it is possible). Some special applications requiring more access to hardware are not always available and the performance can be limiting. For simple applications, it is the fastest and simplest option available.
The Google Tag Manager is a user-friendly solution for marketers to manage tracking codes on their website. The advantage: This tool is not only limited to Google services, but also offers the possibility to integrate a Facebook or LinkedIn tag, for example. As a website provider, you integrate the Tag Manager tracking code on your website and can manage the rest via the tool. In context of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Tag Manager has another function in the EU: The transmission of IP addresses (anonymize IP) can be anonymized, still this process must be set up manually.
A headless CMS is a back-end only Content Management System (CMS). It is a content repository that makes content accessible via a RESTful API for display on any device. It does not have the features that let customers build their site (no themes or templates) but it contains an interface to fetch the content. To use a headless CMS, a site or an app has to be built first, then it is connected to the CMS's API to plug the content into it. Due to this approach, a headless CMS does not care about how and where the content gets displayed. It focuses only one thing - storing and delivering structured content.
Microservices - also known as the microservice architecture - is a variant of the service-oriented architecture structural style that arranges an application as a collection of loosely coupled services. Microservices are fine-grained and the protocols are lightweight and organized around business capabilities.
What is the difference between HubSpot CMS and WorPress? Both are content management systems and are used by companies to create, manage and edit website content. With both systems, almost everything can be customised or expanded with additional plugins.
The big difference: in addition to the CMS Hub, HubSpot also comes with a free CRM, a Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub and Operations Hub. This means that, for example, a visitor to the website can be transferred to the CRM and integrated into the sales process with the help of lead generation and in compliance with the German Data Protection Act (DSGVO).
All sub-components of digital marketing can be automated and individually tailored to the customer. Thus, only the HubSpot CMS Hub can be compared to WordPress, because in terms of inbound marketing, HubSpot is clearly ahead.
