NEW REGULATION FOR THE DESIGN OF COOKIE BANNERS IN 2020

A new DSGVO law has been in force for a few weeks now. As a result, website operators are legally obliged to implement cookie banners in accordance with the latest DSGVO guidelines. 

Generally formulated consent banners such as "We use cookies. If you continue to use our website, you agree to the use of cookies" are no longer legally sufficient. Automatic consent is noT valid if the user continues to stay on the website and clicks.

Accordingly, cookies may only be set if the user has been informed about their use and has actively agreed to the processing of his data.
