Tandem International Multilingual School (IMS) is an international private school in the region of Zurich, providing excellent services at all school levels—from nursery to high school. It offers a multilingual education (German, English, French) and emphasises a warm, child-friendly environment, a gradual transition to high school, and a cross-curricular, inquiry-based learning approach.

The initial situation

With the upcoming opening of a new campus in Küsnacht, Tandem IMS needed a clear positioning, increased brand awareness, and a significant increase in qualified school enrolments.

The challenge

Our main challenge was to effectively communicate Tandem's unique competitive advantages – the multilingual immersion, the creative curriculum, and the prime location. The communication had to convince internationally oriented, discerning parents and directly translate interest into measurable enrolments.

The solution

We implemented a comprehensive, multi-stage, full-service marketing strategy:

  1. Tailored social media strategy: We developed a dynamic content strategy for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, precisely aligned with Tandem IMS's academic calendar and vision. This ensured a consistent, relevant presence and boosted engagement and brand recall.
  2. Target group-focused content: We produced a wide range of high-quality content (from Reels and carousel posts to interactive stories). Visual elements and messaging were consistently used to strengthen brand identity and directly engage the core target group of internationally oriented parents.
  3. Full-funnel marketing setup: An integrated setup combined Google Search Ads to capture high-intent search queries, Performance Max for maximum reach across the Google ecosystem, and Meta Ads to increase awareness and long-term engagement.
  4. Conversion-optimised landing pages: To guarantee a smooth user journey, W4 conceived and developed tailor-made landing pages. Their design and text content were precisely aligned with the respective campaign goals and the school's USPs.
