Exentis is extending industrial manufacturing: Its globally unique 3D screen printing technology sets new standards by enabling large-scale production of over five million components per year in a single facility. This innovation offers industries such as renewable energy, automotive, industrial ceramics, and medical technology highly precise components and applications – faster and more versatile than ever before.
Even with its technological edge, the brand was still mostly unknown beyond specialized industries. The issue wasn’t the technology itself but the lack of effective communication. The complex benefits of Exentis solutions—from material diversity to scalability—weren’t conveyed clearly enough. Exentis faced the challenge of positioning itself in a competitive market, where numerous competitors were fighting for the attention of the same target audiences. The goal was to enhance brand visibility, communicate its innovative strength to a wider audience in an understandable way, and simultaneously highlight its unique selling points.
As partners in this project, we at W4 understood that Exentis didn’t just need an advertising campaign but a strategy that addressed all facets of brand communication. Building on a solid foundation established by Exentis’ new marketing manager, our collaboration was able to begin.
Through a comprehensive analysis, we examined the existing communication approaches, identified the weaknesses that were preventing Exentis from effectively showcasing its technological strengths, and developed ways to communicate the brand’s unique USPs more clearly and convincingly.
At the core of our approach was creative concept development. In intensive, cross-functional brainstorming sessions with the Exentis team, we not only developed a deep understanding of the brand, its technology, and its target audiences but also discovered a variety of creative approaches, supported by compelling slogans and visual concepts. These concepts laid the foundation for a new branding language that conveyed Exentis' core message clearly and concisely: innovation at the highest level, a unique technology.
Based on these insights, we developed a comprehensive concept that strengthened both Exentis’ digital presence and its positioning within target industries. The strategy focused on precise and consistent messaging that clearly highlighted Exentis' innovation leadership. Special emphasis was placed on making the complexity of the technology both understandable and appealing to the target audiences.

We designed a series of targeted digital campaigns that made Exentis visible exactly where decision-makers and engineers from relevant industries are active—through channels such as Google Display Ads and LinkedIn. These campaigns were crafted to not only capture attention but also provide a clear understanding of the unique benefits Exentis offers.
Visual communication played a central role in this process. By developing concise, impactful graphics and visualizations, we were able to make the diversity and flexibility of Exentis solutions tangible. At the same time, we created a comprehensive plan focused on the sustainable growth of brand awareness. This plan emphasized targeted digital campaigns that were continuously optimized to achieve maximum reach and effectiveness, positioning the Exentis brand at the forefront of relevant target audiences.
The new strategy quickly delivered results. Exentis’ digital presence increased significantly, and the brand gained a stronger profile. Target audiences from the industry were effectively reached, as reflected in the growing number of qualified inquiries.
This impact was also evident at the next trade fair: The Exentis booth was well attended, and numerous conversations led to valuable contacts. Many visitors came specifically with the intention of learning more about Exentis, underscoring the importance of the new communication strategy.
