W4 TAKES OVER SOURCE CODE OF LOBSTER'S PIM

wps4digital, and thus also W4, have been part of Lobster's partner network for many years. We have successfully implemented numerous customer projects using the powerful Lobster product range.

Lobster is an established provider of integration and data management solutions: Lobster_data, Lobster_pro, and Lobster_pim. Last year, Lobster decided to focus more on its core competences in data integration and process automation. As a long-standing and trusted implementation partner, W4 was awarded the contract to acquire the source code of Lobster’s product information management (PIM) system.

The acquisition of the source code includes all components and functionalities of Lobster_pim and enables W4 to independently further develop and adapt the software and integrate it into its existing service offerings. A key aspect of the acquisition is ensuring a seamless transition and continuity of support for existing Lobster_pim customers.

W4 will be making intensive preparations in the coming weeks and months to ensure a smooth transition of support and to continue to offer customers reliable and competent support. The establishment of a specialized support team with comprehensive knowledge of the Lobster_pim architecture and functionalities has been underway for several weeks.

In addition, W4 plans to actively drive the further development of Lobster_pim and continuously adapt the software to the changing requirements of the market. This includes the integration of new features and functionalities, the optimization of performance and usability, and the integration with other relevant systems and technologies.
