Offering products for the markets of renewable energy, energy-efficient engine systems, as well as railway technology and automotive electronics, Schaffner AG is an important supplier and pioneer for future energy production and management. As Schaffner's lead agency, we have developed an investor relations microsite that presents more than just annual reports. The microsite was furthermore accompanied by a technical update for schaffner.com regarding product search/product filter. It does not stop there: we are especially proud to have realized the very first Schaffner employee app.

The new site www.schaffner.com is a multimedia experience that brings the company closer to investors and prospects. We have created the microsites for Schaffner's annual reports over the last few years and are impressed with the business's willingness to take it one step further.
The new website is separate from the main website and is designed as an investor relations information platform for stakeholders, partners, and prospects. Other than facts and figures, the site consequently features a calendar, events, webcasts, presentations, and much more.

The website schaffner.com took a big step forward in terms of user-friendliness. We developed a product configurator together with Schaffner and installed various product filters. Users can now select a category, set filters, and define the parameters to find the products that fit their specifications. The products they find interesting can be downloaded as a personalized catalog. Thumbs up!
Also, we have linked TYPO3 with Schaffner's PIM. This guarantees that all product information is always up-to-date on every communication channel.

Top-down communication can get complicated, and sometimes the message gets lost along the way. However, when company news is published via a mobile app, dates, numbers, employee news, and much more get to all recipients simultaneously. This is a big advantage over the intranet: the news is sent directly to employees' mobile phones. Important news is delivered via push notifications. The app ”mySchaffnet" was launched at the end of 2015 for Android and iOS.
