INBOUND 2023 – THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS AND TRENDS

This year, W4 and our dear colleague Stephanie Vatter (Account Manager) were once again at the start of Inbound 2023 - HubSpot's conference for inbound marketing & sales. After our Content Manager Bettina Zühlke brought us the latest developments and trends from Boston last year, we wanted to get first-hand updates and news from the popular all-rounder platform again this year. We can already reveal one thing: It was worth it! A number of innovations have already been implemented and many exciting functions are still to come.

The Event

From 5 to 8 September, the event took place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center with many interesting talks from digital industry icons such as Yamini Rangan (HubSpot CEO) and Dharmesh Shah (Co-Founder and CTO). 
Especially interesting for our Stephanie was the contribution of Kyle Jepson (Sales Professor of the HubSpot Academy), who presented the latest updates of the Sales Hub. Star guest, producer, founder and actress Reese Witherspoon also impressed with her female power, positive charisma and appeal to empower women in business. Another highlight: the VIP party on 5 September – perfect for networking!

THE MOST IMPORTANT INNOVATIONS

HubSpot is in a constant process of change and optimisation to make it as easy and efficient as possible for users to interact with the various hubs, thanks to cutting-edge technologies and artificial intelligence. Sales Hub

  • Differentiated lead management: e.g. to track leads separately from contacts
  • Reports on sequences (e.g. for deal rate, turnover): Did sequence lead to deal?
  • Lead Funnel Report: new report on lead metrics
  • Salesforce Activities Synchronisation
  • Prospecting Activities Report: detailed reports on activities (of potential customers)
  • AI-powered forecasting & accurate tracking: to better identify patterns and trends
    and much more.

In short: with the updates and new features, HubSpot simplifies content creation enormously, offers ideas and shows marketing and sales staff a wide range of possibilities for optimisation. In addition, HubSpot focuses on intuitive, user-friendly integration of important tools and channels such as LinkedIn and offers improved reporting at almost all levels to transparently present users with the most important KPIs, analyses and forecasts. HubSpot also has many product updates and new, attractive functions in store for the Service Hub, Commerce Hub, Operations Hub and the CRM platform.
