Website Relaunch and Refresh for IMS

IMS Connector Systems is an internationally renowned technology company specializing in the development and manufacture of high-frequency connection technology. The product range includes a wide selection of coaxial RF connectors, coaxial cable assemblies, RF antenna switches as well as connectors for M2M and IoT applications developed according to customer requirements. In addition, IMS CS has a high level of competence and experience in research and development.

The challenge

On the one hand, our client wanted a relaunch of the website, which was to take place in the form of a technical re-setup of the already existing site. On the other hand, a refresh of the design was required to make the brand identity contemporary and according to the state of the art. As an experienced partner, the W4 team took on the conception and technical implementation of this project. Since the website in Wordpress (CMS) was difficult to manage for IMS, a switch to the CMS Drupal was made. This ensures easier and efficient editing and management of the website. In addition, Hubspot was integrated into the website as a marketing automation tool. For product display in the catalog and configurator, the 3rd party system Symfony was integrated into the website. Due to the large number of content adjustments, W4 assisted IMS Connector Systems  with content and SEO optimisation. To ensure that the website is also accessible in China while the system can still be managed via the existing web server in Germany, a proxy cache server was installed. As a further feature, the website intelligence tool Leadfeeder was integrated. This provides insights into which campaigns, website content, emails, and ads are used by new prospects, and identifies and qualifies companies that visit the website anonymously.
